Hi,Recently I reinstalled Windows 7 in my PC.After that I am facing a problem.I cannot here sounds.When I checked my Device Manager it shows an exclamation sign in Multimedia Audio Controller.Then I inserted the CD given with my motherboard.When I tried to install AC97 Driver from the CD it tells me that I don't have "Rtkvac.sys" file.Then I downloaded the file from internet and put it in c:\Windows\System32\driver\ but when I tried to install AC97 it showed the same message.Please tell me what can I do now?
Reply: You reinstalled the system, but you did not install the driver, so your sound card is not working properly. It is useless to download the rtkvac.sys file only. You must install the driver for AC97. We do not have the installation package here. You may go to GOOGLE to search for "AC97 sound card driver" to solve this problem easily. I wish you all the best.
