I have removed WPS Office off of my computer, that is every file except qingshellext64.dll. I have tried everything that I know of to remove it but still it remains. I have gone to online forums, YouTube tutorials, have run Iobit Uninstaller, and BitDefender to try and remove it. I even moved it a new folder on my desktop and shredded all the remaining vestiges of
WPS Office and any file paths that remained and tried to dump it in the recycle bin. I even tried going through all of the above steps in Safe Mode and NOTHING works!! I am very frustrated, to say the least. The error message is that it is open or in use by another program. I did some further research and it looks like it is open/being used by Windows Explorer. I tried to close Windows Explorer but then I was unable to access the file (or any file for that matter) at all. I am using a Dell Inspiron 660S Desktop computer and am running Windows 8.1 PLEASE HELP me remove this from my computer before I take a sledge hammer to my hard drive or my head!!
