Hi, I have been using netobject dll version 1.0.0.1 for modbus communication with the devices which are in ipv4 network so far. I wanted to know if the same dll can be used to communicate with the devices that are over ipv6 network. Please help asap
Reply: In fact, the IPV6 communication protocol has nothing to do with the operating system. It consists of a specific data format. When you use the IPV6 protocol to communicate with the target device, the system will automatically send this IPV6 data format to the other party. As far as I know, the Windows system supports the IPV6 communication protocol, and applications cano ignore this, so as long as your application can send data through the network normally, there is no problem.
