Tip: How to correctly select the file you need
  • 1.  If you know MD5 value of the required files, it is the best approach to make choice

    My CMUDAX3.SYS file is not digitally signed. I ran dxdiag to review the specs of the file. I am using windows 10. The file is dated 9/4/12 and its version is 18:00:00
    the provider is C-Media-Electronics Inc
    How do I update this file to get it digitally signed.

    Reply: The digital signature of this file can only be signed by the file publisher. Others cannot add digital signatures to this file; you can go to their official website to see that the newly released file may have a digital signature.

    But if your system is running normally, there is no need to persistently pursue digital signatures. After all, digital signatures are just a tamper-proof method for files.
